holla.

I like all the BoSox hats for the family - nice! Fan much?

I worked on my Halloween costume this weekend - I'm going as the Tooth Fairy. I did some actual sewing for this costume! It's so nice to finally know how to use the sewing machine. No more mystery - it ain't that tough. The hardest part is threading it & dropping the bobbin in properly. Going in a straight line is kinda tricky, too, but that's a heck of a lot easier with some practice.

I'll definitely have some photos to post of this costume later on down the line. Right now I'm on the search for the perfect wig to top it all off...

Just scored big at the Goodwill store with the kids. Sammi's going to be "Moaning Myrtle" from Harry Potter for Halloween. We got an old graduation gown for her robe, and and old necktie for her to wear with a white button-down that she already has. We got her a long black wig and a pair of glasses last night. I'll be sure to take pics the next time she tries on the whole get up. She really looks great! We also found ice skates for each of the kids, and a kick-ass western style shirt so I can be a dead cowgirl!

So...who else is dressing up, and what are you going to be this year?

And hello from me

This was the view from my street a few weeks ago!

Danny had to tell me all about Manny's home run - what he actually said was, 'Conni's boyfriend' hit a run... hehe. I'm surprised he used your actually name, rather than No Pants!

Too bad Sarah's so busy with work! I'll be busy with it this weekend. I brought a bunch of stuff home with me. I also have big plans to do some home re-organization, yard work, and possibly work on a new sewing project. We'll see how all that goes.

Soxtober

So, I'm sitting here watching 2 playoff games. The Yankees (BOOOO) and Cleveland are tied in the 11th inning and the Sox (YEAHHHH) are up 2-0 top of the second. Gotta love October! Kinda wish I had split-screen but Dan's doing a good job working the remote.

Not a whole lot new here, been half-heartedly looking @ jobs, need to work on my resume. Don't want to be too aggressive until I know more about when/what kind of offer the company is going to offer us.

It's been in the 70's-80's again here the past couple days. Where is my crisp clean fall air???

I know that Sarah has been/will be balls to the wall @ work til probably Thanksgiving, so I'll cut her some slack when it comes to blogging. What's your story Jerusha?

Speaking of Turkey Day...Faith I can't wait for you to get here! I haven't played rummy in a while, how 'bout you?

Whoooohoooo Cleveland just beat the Yankees!

The Sox and Angels are tied @ 2 because Manny just blew a play...nope make that 2 plays in the time it took to type this sentence. Now we're down 1. Guess I'd better put down the laptop or this is going to be a play by play post of the next 7 innings!

Where are we?

Come on, ladies, get with the program! Mom, I was impressed that you tackled the blogging thing. Go, techno-Mama! But where are Sarah and Jessy?

Ho hum. Well, I'd better get my butt off to work. I was home for a while this morning but I'm feeling much better. Just wanted to drop a line to all of you. I hope we get this thing off the ground - it has the potential to be very cool.

I love all of you!

I did it!!

Wow, after doing lots of stuff to the nether reaches of my computer, this should get me on the blog..Crossing my fingers, here goes-Well at least the Preview feature works.

Mom of the NotSoLittlePeppers here on an artsy crafty streak of creating autumn wreaths, gathering and drying flowers and herbs to do more, knitting scarves and shawls and picking bushels of apples-all this with the thermometer reading a record breaking 90!! Taking a break to cool off a bit as I'm so excited about this family blogging, and want to add my voice. What a great way to stay connected and learn about one another.

I'm determined to make this a homemade gift year, jam is in the pipeline, along with requests for big coverall aprons. Anyone have any other suggestions. Jeanne made gifts for Conni and Sarah's households by copying an item our neighbor bought for over $100 at Pier 1-they are amazing!!

Well-back to the apple picking-thanks for this space Fifi! Love to All, Mom

Yeah!

Yippee - I can't wait to see the official Bachelorette Badness Scrapbook, Conni! I'll be impatiently awaiting that for the next few days here...

I'm having one of those days at work that's busy - then quiet - then busy - then quiet. I'm hanging on the outer edge of busy right now - so figured I ought to wrap this up (I started it an hour ago!) before the phone rings again.
